172 – [2of2] Serving the Unique Challenges of Each Individual Businessperson with Tara Joyce

Today I am going to introduce you to Tara Joyce. I love the angle that Tara comes from in helping people grow their business and I am completely aligned with everything she says. I think if businesses spent more time on their vision and strategic goals they could reach their dreams much faster through their increased success.

In This Episode:

  • The Quality of relationships determine success
  • Recognizing the unique challenge of each individual
  • Tara learned as a child that business owners need help
  • Being unbiased as a mentor is crucial
  • Learning what you really want is part of the process
  • Letting go of incorrect ideas

Unfulfilled at 26, Tara Joyce left her corporate career to start a business and to deepen her exploration of how she wanted to be of service. Quickly, she was attracted to the seemingly backwards strategy of not setting a price and allowing her customers to determine the value of her offering, and to sharing what she learned with other business owners through her blog Rise of the Innerpreneur. Today, the “Pay What It’s Worth” concept and Tara’s published work, including her upcoming book Pay What It’s Worth (available Summer 2016), support people globally in transforming their own scarcity and fear-based ideas around money, value, and business relationships. Tara lives in Toronto, Canada, and is the recipient of a Forbes “Best Websites for Entrepreneurs” Award.
